Written and tutored by Val Strong. |
OCN Accreditation - Foundation Level 9 Credits. Click Here for details of accreditation. |
Written and tutored by leading equine behaviourist, Val Strong, this course is primarily designed for anyone who is starting learning to ride or thinking of acquiring their first adult horse or foal from a breeder, or adopting a horse of any age from an animal welfare centre. The course is also written to be enjoyable and informative to study for existing owners who would like to understand their horse better from a behavioural point of view. Through coursework assessment at each of the six stages, You and Your Horse enables young or inexperienced horse owners and riders to achieve an accredited level of qualification in equine behaviour, care and nutrition. It will enable students to demonstrate their knowledge, integrity and commitment to owning a horse to an owner of a livery stable, breeder, dealer or equine welfare centre where they are intending to acquire their foal or horse. |
